1970's Man's Green Leisure Suit

Description

Jacket: Light green polyester stabilized warp knit unlined men's leisure suit. Lapel collar with very wide (4.5") collar points. Shoulder epaulets (1.5" wide) with one inch green mottled button on each shoulder. Center front opening with four button/buttonhole closure. Four patch pockets on jacket front: two 5" x 5.5" square over each side of chest; two 7" x 7.5" over abdomen area. All pockets with box pleat at center of pocket, flap with and functioning button/buttonhole at center of flaps. Plain jacket back. Six inch vents on side seams of jacket. Machine stitched jacket hem.
Long set-in sleeves with three inch wide cuffs and one button/buttonhole closure at wrist.
Darker green top-stitching throughout garment including collar and jacket edges, epaulets and pockets. Cuff topstitching in matching collar to garment fabric.
Trousers: Unlined light green polyester warp knit trousers. Two-inch wide waistband with six self- fabric belt loops and center front zipper fly opening. Heavy hook/eye closure. Slant front pockets, besom pockets at left and right back with button/buttonhole fastener on left pocket. Wide left - approximately 10.5" at lower edge, no cuff. Cream colored stabilized warp knit polyester fabric for pockets and facing of waistband.
