1980s Blue Beaded Chiffon Dress
Description
Royal blue chiffon heavily beaded bodice/torso/sleeves in silver and blue sequins and bugle beads. Sweetheart front neckline with stand up collar at back and side fronts.
Loose fitting through beaded torso with asymmetric lower torso edge (thigh level at left side seam; high hip level at right side seam). Gathered chiffon/georgette skirt below torso with silk lining; even hemline. Set in, long, heavily beaded sleeves; shoulder pads. Center back hand-picked zipper. Beading on torso and sleeves of clear and dark blue bugle beads. Silver sequins and clear bugle beads form large vine motif in front, upper back shoulder areas and sleeve borders. Vine beading outlined in black bugle beads. Six horizontal rows of dark blue bugle beads outline neckline, lower torso edge and sleeve edges.
