White dinner jacket and dark navy tuxedo pants; a) single breasted, shawl collar with two double welt pockets and one single welt, long set-in sleeves with vent and 3 buttons, lined in rayon satin b) Tuxedo pants - satin stripe down the sides, front pleats, side-seam hidden pockets, front zipper and button closure, two double-welt pockets in back, buttons around waistband for suspenders.

Provenance

This ensemble belonged to Harold G. Kayne. Harold was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 25, 1917. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1941 with a BS in Business Administration. After serving in the Army in World War II, Harold married Miriam Greenberg. They had three children together. Harold worked as a Secretary-Treasurer for Twentieth Century Builders. Harold and Miriam remained in Columbus, Ohio for their entire lives.
