Provenance

This suit was worn by John T. Mains Jr. John was born May 24, 1927 in Greenfield, Ohio. He was the son of John T. and Helen Bliss (Enderlin) Mains. He attended The London School of Economics in England and The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. John married Marjorie Murray on November 27, 1965. He also served as the Mayor of Greenfield, Ohio from 1966-1967. His father and grandfather had also served in the same position.
