Provenance

This dress belonged to Harriet de Rosière, who was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1929. She was the only child of Harry and Lillian (née Arbenz) Moeller. She was educated at the Columbus School for Girls and at Vassar College. She married Vicomte Paul de Rosière in 1955, living in New York, Paris, London and Houston. They moved to Palm Beach, where they had become engaged years earlier, in 1989. Mr. de Rosière died in 1995 and Harriet passed away in 2013.
