Black silk textured weave dress; with long sleeves ending in turnback cuffs; button front closure; pockets; black leather shaped belt with patent leather buckle; built-in black net crinoline; below knee length.

Provenance

This dress as worn by Judith Abromowitz for an event in 1995. Judith had purchased the dress at a vintage store in Dayton which had acquired it from an estate in Oakwood, Ohio. Judith donated the dress to The Ohio State Historic Costume & Textiles Collection in 1996, shortly after wearing it.
