1940s Yellow Two-Piece Bathing Suit
Description
Two-piece yellow synthetic women's bathing suit; bra, shorts and belt.
A. Shorts
Full cut shorts with seams at left and right side fronts and center front and back. 1 1/4" wide waistband with 5 self fabric belt carriers. Nylon tricot panty lining attached at waist; elastic at pant leg. 2" inseam.
B. Bra top
Bra top with 1/2" wide elastic shoulder straps that cross in back and then attach at bra sides. Bra cups lined in nylon tricot. Inverted V inset at lower edge extending to side seams; straps attach to this inset at side back
c. Belt
(.75" wide) with round yellow slide buckle
