Charles James "Infanta" Dress
Black lace over white taffeta fitted bodice with stiffened peplum; waltz length skirt of layers of black and brown net over stiffened narrow black silk underskirt.
This dress was worn by Sally Van Der Meersch in the 1950s. Sally was born in West Virginia in 1928 to Charles Mundy and Myrtle Hock. Sally worked as an International Fashion Coordinator for Celanese and traveled to Europe for this position.
