Provenance
This caftan was a wedding gift for a Moroccan bride named Lalla Fatima Baradia. She was married in Fez, Morocco in 1875. Her wedding marked the first time that she was leaving her family. She went on to have 12 children, of which there were 11 girls and 1 boy.
