Halston Red Chiffon Dress

Floor length red Halston with spaghetti straps, bias cut; closely fitting through the torso, below spread in wide A-gored skirt (no waist seam).

This dress was worn by Evelyn Bergman Lape. Eve was born in London, England in 1937. She attended both Columbia and Boston University. Eve worked in real estate and as a fashion consultant in New York City. Her husband, Bob Lape, was a t.v. personality and food critic who began Eyewitness Gourmet in 1970.
